The Kuwait Society in Glasgow, in collaboration with REST Coffee, presents an art competition celebrating GCC culture and creativity. Three winning concepts will be selected, and the final artworks will be proudly displayed at REST Coffee, Glasgow, giving emerging artists a place to show their art.

About the event
The Kuwait Society in Glasgow, in collaboration with REST Coffee, is proud to launch a creative art competition celebrating the culture and identity of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries 🇰🇼🇸🇦🇦🇪🇴🇲🇶🇦🇧🇭.
This competition is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of the Kuwait Society or a student to participate.
Participants are invited to submit an original art concept inspired by GCC culture, focusing on creativity, storytelling, and cultural expression. Three winning concepts will be selected and developed into final artworks to be displayed at REST Coffee in Glasgow, offering artists real public exposure in a vibrant community space.
In addition to having their art displayed, winning artists will receive complimentary coffee or matcha from REST Coffee as part of the collaboration.
This initiative aims to support creativity, encourage cultural exchange, and make art accessible to the wider community in Glasgow and beyond.
